Mit einer Einführung in die Ausstellung von Manya Gramsch, freie Kunsthistorikerin und Kunstvermittlerin.
Tanja Hehmann und Annika Unterburg verstehen Malerei als eine Möglichkeit zur Sensibilisierung der visuellen Wahrnehmung. Ihr differenziertes Farb- und Raumempfinden fließt in ihr gemeinsames ortsspezifisches Ausstellungskonzept für die Städtische Galerie Eichenmüllerhaus in Lemgo ein: Malerei erweitert sich in den Raum. THE THIRD SPHERE kreiert einen Ort der Begegnung als positive Utopie und wird zu einer begehbaren Collage aus installativer Malerei, Poesie sowie einem ruhigen Plätzchen für Besinnung.
THE THIRD SPHERE von Tanja Hehmann und Annika Unterburg wurde am 11.10.2025 in einer besonderen Soundperformance erlebbar. Die dänisch-schwedische Künstlerin Maria Nordsø Lundberg führte mit Gesang und vielschichtigen Soundkulissen durch Teile der begehbaren Collage aus Zeichnungen, Malerei und Poesie. Über die Dauer von etwa 45 Minuten erweiterte sich die Ausstellung um eine akustische Ebene, die Empathie und Sensibilität als utopische Qualitäten erfahrbar machte.
Der Kunstverein Lemgo e.V. präsentierte THE THIRD SPHERE vom 28.09.2025 – 02.11.2025 im Erdgeschoss der Städtischen Galerie Eichenmüllerhaus, Lemgo. Von Tanja Hehmann und Annika Unterburg wurde die Ausstellung eigens für das Eichenmüllerhaus entwickelt.

Tanja Hehmann and Annika Unterburg view painting as a means of heightening visual perception. Their nuanced sense of color and space flows into their collaborative site-specific exhibition concept for the Städtische Galerie Eichenmüllerhaus in Lemgo: painting expands into the space. THE THIRD SPHERE creates a place of encounter as a positive utopia and becomes a walk-in collage of installation-based painting, poetry, and a quiet spot for reflection.
THE THIRD SPHERE by Tanja Hehmann and Annika Unterburg came to life on October 11, 2025, through a special sound performance. Danish-Swedish artist Maria Nordsø Lundberg guided visitors through parts of the walk-in collage of drawings, paintings, and poetry with her singing and multi-layered soundscapes. Over the course of about 45 minutes, the exhibition expanded to include an acoustic dimension that made empathy and sensitivity tangible as utopian qualities.
The Kunstverein Lemgo e.V. presented THE THIRD SPHERE from September 28, 2025, to November 2, 2025, on the ground floor of the Städtische Galerie Eichenmüllerhaus in Lemgo. The exhibition has been developed by Tanja Hehmann and Annika Unterburg specifically for the Eichenmüllerhaus.
